Lauren Gottlieb, who made her Bollywood debut with Anybody Can Dance, will now be seen essaying the role of an American-Indian dancer for Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 2- a sequel to Anybody Can Dance.
The actress recently injured her neck while performing a stunt sequence. She recalls, “Just the day before my injury while having lunch with Remo (D’Souza) and Varun (Dhawan) I was boasting about how I had never been injured and how I take precautions like warming up before. Everyone started touching wood and warned me not to bring bad luck to myself.” And that is exactly what happened. She adds, “I always do a 30 minute warm up before performing anything physical. However, on that day for the first time I didn’t warm up and ended up getting hurt! I’d say I learned my lesson.”
ABCD 2 that stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead is slated to release on 26 June, 2015.
